Testimonies, tips, and tidbits? What a mouthful. What kind of webpage would have such a variety of stories and topics? In this collection of writings, you will find humorous stories revealing glimpses of my personal life, testimonials of God’s work in my life, tips learned from years of working in various ministries, stories about the antics of small children in church, and tidbits that God and others have taught me over the years. This collection of stories is spread throughout two my websites:

I hope you enjoy reading about these true experiences from my life, and that you can see God’s hand at work in these situations.
My motive for sharing these stories is not to depress or discourage you, or to gain pity for myself. Rather, it is to show you that God is powerful enough to overcome all of our troubles, be alongside of us on our journey through life, and meet all of our needs. Whatever our situation, God is in control and He will bring good out of it. God watches over His people and protects them. God uses the horrible circumstances to work in us, to transform us, and to equip us to be His ambassadors who share the good news of Jesus Christ with others. Jesus is our hope!
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, has truly transformed my life. He met and encouraged me at the exact time I attempted to commit suicide because of deep emotional and physical pain stemming from marriage to an abusive, alcoholic husband, and several other circumstances in my life. Living in those circumstances brought me to the lowest point in my life. As a result, I tried to commit suicide to escape from heartache, pain, feeling worthless and hopeless, and because I could see no end to the nightmare or hope for a better future.
But God intervened, and I am alive—and here today—to testify that God pulled me out of the mud and mire of those circumstances and stopped me from making a dreadful mistake. God lifted me out of the darkest pit and gave me a new life filled with joy, love, peace, hope, and many other blessings and promises from God.
Scripture says, “I waited patiently for the Lord; He turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord, (…).” (Psalm 40:1-3 NIV) God has truly done this in my life!
After stopping me from committing suicide, God has brought much healing to my broken heart and messed up life. God gave me a new life, and a new marriage. God has also used me and these little testimonies to encourage and minister to others who are hurting. Since God has done this for me, I know God can do it for others too. God alone is the answer to the troubles we face in life.
By committing suicide, I would have let Satan rob me of many blessings. I praise God that He stopped me from making this terrible mistake. No matter how hopeless our situation looks, in Christ, there is always hope and the promise of a better life ahead—because God is our Hope and for His children, He has a great future planned for us to live with Him in His heavenly household. There will be no more evil or pain or tears. Only God knows the extent of His great plan for us, but we can read about His plans for us in Revelation, chapter 21 and other places in the Holy Bible.
The stories on this website are true but the names have purposely been changed or excluded to keep the people anonymous. The stories are meant to encourage, teach, and illustrate God’s hand at work in my life. There is no need for putting someone else on the spot by including their names. So sit back, relax, and read on to see how God can touch your life too!
Jesus is the only answer for the multitudes of broken people who roam the earth. God alone has the power to change, heal and transform the hearts and lives of broken people. I know God can heal your heart and life—if you will let Him do it His way—because He has done it for me!
